After a day of competition and hours of preparation, Miss Sudan 2008 was finally crowned. The honor went to Amani Agory.

Amani was born in 1985 in Juba, the southern region of Sudan. She grew up in Khartoum, the northern region of Sudan. She is the oldest of five children in her family, with four brothers and one sister.

Amani is currently a student at Grossment College. She is majoring in International Relations and minoring in Arabic.

Among her hobbies are walking, listening to Arabic music, sewing table cloths, braiding, and reading. She also enjoys travel and wants to visit locations all over the world, both for education and entertainment.
